        Leenus L. K. is a Writer, Actor, Film Director and Communication Designer with varied and passionate interest in the new and emerging areas of Cinematic art. He has more than three decades of professional experience and an equally impressive academic experience having been involved in founding and leading major educational institutions of the state. He was a member of the first Academic Council of K R Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts, Kottayam, and Assistant Project Director and Academic Coordinator at Kerala State Institute of Design (KSID), Chandanathope, Kollam. He was also a Producer for Electronic and Computer media at the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT), Trivandrum, Consultant at Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd, and Chetana media. He has been the Convenor of the Expert Committee overseeing curriculum design for Cinema & T V, Multimedia and Design for UG & PG programs at M G University, Kottayam for the last 15 years.
       His films have won awards and have been screened at IFFK, SIGNS Festival of Indian Features & and Non-Features, ViBGYOR International film festival, Brisbane International Film Festival, Australia, International Short Film Festival, Detmold, Germany and Competition SOTTOVENTI at Festival Internazionale del Cinema d’Arte, Italy.
       He has also been part of the Jury for National Film Awards, MIFF (Organised by Films Division) and Kerala State Television award committees, and festival selection committees.
